Yoga Classes with Peggy Hall
"The calm steadiness of the senses... is called yoga."
~ The Upanishads, ancient yoga text

"Yoga is not about mastering a series of poses," explains Peggy. "Yoga is about experiencing yourself in the pose so you can develop a sense of calm energy and focused awareness that you can then take into all areas of your life."
"When you learn to really live your yoga," says Peggy, "you begin to fully participate in life, experiencing all it has to offer -- fully awake, fully alive and eager to open yourself to all the gifts it has to offer, knowing you have the strength and courage to follow your dreams!"
Peggy's Current Teaching Schedule at Yoga Works in Laguna Beach
Wednesdays: 10:30 am - 12 noon
I feel that you offer so much of yourself in your practice as a teacher. You can tell that your message and feelings come from so deep within you and you share it with such grace and sweetness....and a big smile. Whenever I think of yoga now, I think of you and your inner radiance coming out and inspiring each of us to be mindful, quiet mind, and letting go. I look so forward to making yoga an important part of this next chapter of life. ~ Ronnie R.

The type of yoga I teach is a unique blend of the various types of yoga emphasizing awareness, breath and concentration. I tailor each class to meet the needs of the students.
Every class is different, but they have the common theme of “experiencing” the pose rather than trying to “achieve” the pose.
Yoga teaches us to practice with integrity and compassion, allowing the body to open rather than forcing it to. In this way, we develop patience and fortitude and learn to carry those qualities with us in our daily lives!
